Desde 1 de janeiro de 2017, os sistemas de ar condicionado de ve\u00edculos em muitos pa\u00edses do mundo devem utilizar refrigerantes com PAG &lt; 150. O g\u00e1s HFO1234yf \u00e9 a solu\u00e7\u00e3o mais utilizada com um PAG 350 vezes inferior ao seu antecessor, o R134a. Foram introduzidos controlos e limita\u00e7\u00f5es na produ\u00e7\u00e3o, importa\u00e7\u00e3o e venda do g\u00e1s R134a. O gr\u00e1fico mostra a percentagem m\u00e1xima permitida de R134a e as expectativas de pre\u00e7o dos dois refrigerantes. A diferen\u00e7a de pre\u00e7os e as dificuldades de fornecimento podem originar uma utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o indevida dos refrigerantes e levar \u00e0 contamina\u00e7\u00e3o da m\u00e1quina. Garantir a pureza do refrigerante \u00e9 fundamental para a correta gest\u00e3o das Warranties, para evitar a descontamina\u00e7\u00e3o da m\u00e1quina e os custos de repara\u00e7\u00e3o do sistema de ar condicionado e para garantir a elimina\u00e7\u00e3o de g\u00e1s contaminado.
