WINTER MAINTENANCE PROGRAM
Workshop’s A/C equipment needs care and maintenance. Prepare now the new season.
With arrival of first sunny days, winter season leave and A/C Service in your workshop becomes more
frequent. Carefully prepared equipment will guarantee professional and efficient service.
In order to avoid wasting time with maintenance while you have to sell and carry out the service, we
recommend performing maintenance during the low A/C season in the winter months.
To have always reliable equipment in your workshop, Ecotechnics recommends following Check-list for
competent maintenance:
• Filter: The counter of the A/C Station will inform you about the need to install a new drying filter. In
general, our filters last 50 kg or 100 kg recovered refrigerant. In the Menu-navigation you can check the
quantity already done. If it’s near the quantity limit, it might be useful to install a new one. Once installed
the new filter, the counter has to be settled on zero (ident code on the filter)
• Vacuum pump oil: the vacuum pump oil should be changed at least once a year and in case of new
filter installation. Further, the level of oil should always be controlled.
• Software and Database update. Verify last SW version installed and update SW and Database.
• Calibration: correct settings of the balance of internal tank and of oil containers have to be controlled
• Pressure gauge verification: ensure correct visualization of indicators
• Leak detection: control eventual refrigerant losses during recovery process with electronic leak detector
• Service hoses and internal lines: ensure a vacuum phase is held
• General condition: visual quality and status control
